About the course:
The American Heart Association’s (AHA) HeartCode BLS program combines self-paced eLearning with hands-on skills training to help learners acquire and demonstrate Basic Life Support (BLS) skills. The cognitive eLearning portion features real-time adaptive learning technology, probing questions, and Cognitive Assessment Activities (CAAs).
Designed for healthcare providers and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills, HeartCode programs deliver quality resuscitation training with higher flexibility in delivery. Learners gain more control to complete the course based on their schedule and learning needs. To receive an AHA eCard, learners first complete the eLearning portion followed by a hands-on skills training using a self-directed course on an RQI-P Go Simulation Station.
