Mastering Inguinal & Ventral Hernias and Complex Abdominal Wall Repair Surgery

Masterclass Training in Surgical Hernia Repair

Course Outcomes:

About the course:

The IRCAD Advanced Course on Surgical Hernia Repair is a 3-day immersive training program designed for surgeons to gain in-depth expertise in laparoscopic, robotic, and advanced abdominal wall repair (AWR) techniques. Led by Prof. Didier Mutter and Dr. Mahak Bhandari, along with a distinguished international faculty board, the course blends lectures, case-based discussions, pre-recorded surgeries, and hands-on training on live tissue.

Participants will explore the full spectrum of hernia management—inguinal, ventral, incisional, parastomal, and complex abdominal wall reconstructions—while mastering both conventional and robotic approaches. With state-of-the-art simulation facilities, expert mentorship, and structured practical sessions, this course sets the benchmark for future-ready surgical training.
