Dr. Saikat Banerjee
Faculty at Institute of Management Technology, Hyderabad

Dr. Saikat Banerjee is an Assistant Professor in the Strategic Management area at the Institute of Management Technology Hyderabad. He holds a PhD in Strategic Management from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. His research interests include entrepreneurial orientation of firms, innovation, CEO characteristics, international business, and social issues in business. His research papers are published in several international journals, and presented in various international conferences such as Strategic Management Society conferences in London (2022), Virtual (2020), Hyderabad (2018), Hong Kong (2016), and Berlin (2016); Academy of International Business annual meeting in Copenhagen (2019), Academy of Management annual meeting in Chicago (2018) etc. He has diverse past experience in academic (IMT Hyderabad, and University of Hyderabad), inter-government (United Nations ESCAP), government (Reserve Bank of India, and United Bank of India), and private (Cognizant Technology Solutions) organizations interacting with a varied range of stakeholders across roles, functions, geographies, and social status. He is also recipient of Reserve Bank of India Young Scholar award, and Strategic Management Society conference’s “Best Research Paper in Innovation” award.
